  • SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CONTINUES MONTHLY SUPPORT WITH MILK POWDER DONATION FOR TWIN GIRLS

    On 15th May 2025, the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to welfare by donating 40 packets of milk powder to the twin daughters of a NCO currently serving in the 2(V) SLSC. This marks the third consecutive month of support under the initiative designed to assist the NCO, who has become the sole caregiver to his one-year and five-month-old daughters after the tragic loss of their mother.

  • SUPPORT FOR NCO’S FAMILY AMID MEDICAL CRISIS

    On 14th May 2025, the President of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, along with Mrs. Kanchana Mendis and Mrs. Asha Dissanayake visited the family of a NCO from the 4 SLSC. The visit was intended to extend compassion and support to a NCO, whose four-month-old son is currently battling a severe lung condition.

  • EXTENDING ASSISTANCE TO A CIVIL WORKER OF SLSC

    Continuing their outreach efforts, the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, led by Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage (President- SLSC SVB) and Mrs. Kanchana Mendis, visited the family of a civilian worker serving in the 11 SLSC, on 14th May 2025. His wife is currently suffering from a severe nerve disorder, posing a significant financial and emotional burden on the family.

  • Signal Corps won Inter-Regiment Bodybuilding Championship 2025

    The Army Inter-Regiment Bodybuilding Championship Tournement 2025 was successfully held at the Sri Lanka Army Bodybuilding Centre, Panagoda on 07, 08 and 09 May 2025. Ten bodybuilding teams participated in the tournament and the Sri Lanka Signal Corps Bodybuilding Team won the championship for the second consecutive time by winning 2 gold medals and 4 silver medals in the overall tournament. Major General WBJK Wimalaratne RWP RSP Chairman, Army Bodybuilding, Weightlifting and Fitness Committee graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

  • SIGNAL SEVA VANITHA BRANCH STANDS BYA FAMILY IN RECOVERY

    On 9th May 2025, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, President of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, extended heartfelt support to the family of a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC). The officer’s wife had recently undergone surgery for a lumbar disc prolapse which is a condition that had caused her immense pain over several months.

  • SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH DONATES WHEEL CHAIRS

    The Signals Seva Vanitha Branch has donated wheelchairs to Lance Corporal Mohotti MMEMK RSP, a soldier currently serving with the Sri Lanka Signals Corps (SLSC). Lance Corporal Mohotti sustained injuries during the Northern Humanitarian Operation in November 2008.

    The Signals Seva Vanitha Branch donated an air mattress to the father of a soldier serving in the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC). The soldier’s father is bedridden due to an accident, and an air mattress had been requested to ease his condition. In response to the challenges faced by the family, the Seva Vanitha Branch took the initiative to provide the necessary support.
