    Lieutenant Colonel Chinthaka Perera assumed duties on 22 August 2022 as the 26th Commanding Officer of 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps which is located under Security Force Headquarters, Jaffna.

  • PASSING OUT PARADE OF THE BASIC CERTIFICATE IN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY COURSE 127

    Hundred and thirty-two recruits belonging to the Basic Certificate in Information and Communication Technology Course 127 received their insignia on Wednesday (17) at the School of Signals during a glamorous parade for the first time adding a golden page to the history of the corps. Major General HMLD Herath RSP USP psc, the Chief Signal Officer of Sri Lanka Army and The Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Signal Corps graced the Passing out ceremony as the Chief Guest accompanied by senior officers of the Regimental Council and Commanding Officers of Signal Regiments accepting the invitation by the Commandant School of Signals.

  • Army’s DIT Innovated New Software Solution Commissioned at SL Customs

    In a remarkable innovative gesture, the Sri Lanka Army’s Directorate of Information Technology (DIT) on the directions given by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Commander of the Army developed a new software solution to the Sri Lanka Customs in order to further facilitate their digitalization process on Wednesday (20).

  • INTER REGIMENT RUGBY TOURNAMENT 2022 – 2ND ROUND

    What a whirlwind finish. SLSC Team get over the line by scoring 37 / 07 in the 2nd round after beating SLEME Team on 20th. Semifinal matches will be played from 27th and 28th July in the RHQ SLAGSC Rugby Ground Panagoda.

  • INTER REGIMENT RUGBY TOURNAMENT 2022 - 1ST ROUND LEAGUE

    15 a side inter regiment rugby tournament 2022 was organized by the Sri Lanka Army Rugby Committee and 1st round matches were played from 27th June to14th July according to the league system in the Dombagoda Rugby Ground. SLSC Team became the top in the Group B after beating Gunners Team by scoring 57 / 00. Quarter final super eight matches will be played from 18th to 21st July in the RHQ SLAGC Rugby Ground Panagoda.

  • 2 (V) SLSC TROOPS BACK FOOD SECURITY DRIVE

    2nd (Volunteer) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps troops in Dalukana on Saturday (16) began planting Lemon sapling inside the camp premises as per guidelines given by Major General Sugath Ratnayake ndu, Commander FMA (East) in order to support the ongoing food security program of the government.

  • NATIONAL INTER STATE SENIOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 IN CHENNAI

    Signalers’ top athletes L/Cpl Amasha De Silva was in action at the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships 2022, which held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai from June 10 to 14. Amasha De Silva represented the Sri Lankan women’s 4 x 100 m relay team. The team managed to produce a timing of 45.35s, securing the 2nd position while the India team cruised to a comfortable Gold with a timing of 43.95s.
