Differently abled War Hero, Sergeant Pathiranage PDP Sri Lanka Signal Corps, residing in Kamburupitiya-based 'Abimansala -2' (wellness resort) tied nuptial knots of ceremonial wedding ceremony at Wadduwa Laya beach resort on 12 March 2020.
Bridegrooms, Sergeant Pathiranage PDP of 1 SLSC whilst serving in 10 Sri Lanka Signal Corps(RFT) during Wanni Humanitarian operation, sustained injuries at Sugandepuram due to an explosion and turned physically disabled. His disability however did not pose any bar to his unfailing romance with Sriyani Sandya Kumari. He is still undergoing treatment at ‘Abimansala 2’ wellness resort at Kaburupitiya. Ceremonial Wedding with matrimonial rites and rituals, adorned the wedding spirits in full scale.
Major General DAPN Dematanpitiya ndu psc, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Commandant of Defences Services Command and Staff College as the Chief Guest for this remarkable event graced the occasion and also the attesting witness for marriage registration on behalf of bridegroom, together with Other Senior Officers and a gathering of invitees of the bridegroom and the bride.
