Commemorating the world Valentine Day, Sri Lanka Army Signal Sevavanitha Branch organized a special lunch for the inmates of Abimansala 1 at Anuradhapura with the participation of the Chairperson of the Signal Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Sandamali Abeysekera, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signal, Major General E P De Z Abeysekera USP along with many senior officers and members of the Signal Sevavanitha branch. The Signal Sevavanitha branch also donated sofa covers which worth of Rs 100,000/= for the use of war heroes. Members of Sevavanith also payed their gratitude and warmth by presenting a red rose and gifts for all the inmates, making the event more meaningful in appreciating their service rendered to the nation.
