Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Seva Vanitha Branch conducted Poson Bakthi Gee (Devotional Songs) concert to mark the Poson Full Moon Poya Day at Sri Bodhirajaramaya Temple, Panagoda on 23rd June 2013 amidst a large gathering.
Poson Bakthi Gee was organized for the third consecutive year on the initiatives taken by Mrs. Sandamali Abeysekera, Chairperson of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch. Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch along with members of the Signals Juniors' Club and women soldiers of 11 SLSC jointly presented their talents during the event. Performance of disabled soldiers was a notable event on the stage.
Deputy Chief of Staff & Master General Ordnance of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Major General EP de Z Abeysekera graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairpersons of several Regimental Seva Vanitha Branches, senior officers from Signal Corps and other regimens along with soldiers and civilians witnessed the event.
