The Sri Lanka Army Inter Regimental Karate Championship - 2023 was successfully held at Army Physical Training School Panagoda on 10 - 13 January 2023. 11 athletes participated for the tournament representing the Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
Signals Karate Team won 13 Gold medals, 04 Silver medals and 03 Bronze medals in the tournament and became the runners-up in the women's category and runners-up in the junior women's category.
Comd FMA(MLT), Col Comdt SLCMP & chairman of the Karate Committee Major General A L Illangakoon graced the occasion as the chief guest and Comd FMA (N) (offg) Brig A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, D Sports AHQ Brig KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, Comd Sig Bde Brig B I Assalaratchi USP psc ptsc were present at the occasion.
