Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Karate Tournament 2013 was held from 05th to 08th January 2014 at the Army Physical Training School , Panagoda, under the patronage of the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General RMD Rathnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc as the Chief Guest. During the tournament Sgm Kumara AJD 2 (V) SLSC won a gold medal in the Kumthe , Black Belt event and four signalers , L/Cpl Riswan RSM 5 SLSC , L/Cpl Wijebandara AMK 7 SLSC, Sgm Roshan M 5 SLSC and Sgm Thilina KAK 9 SLSC won bronze medals in different kumthe Black, Brown and white belt categories.
