The ‘99th National Championship’, organized to select athletes for the National Pool ends with remarkable performance of SLSC Women athletes. The event was held at Sugathadasa Stadium from 30 & 31 October 2021 with the participation of considerable number of athletes.
Lance Corporal Perera KLSK (11 SLSC) won the first place in the Pole Vault event (3m 57 cm) broke the existing Sri Lankan record. Moreover, Lance Corporal Kumarasinghe KGDMS (2(V) SLSC) won the first place in 800m event (2 Min 2 Sec 52 Ms) and broke the existing Sri Lankan record and also won the first place in 400m.
