SLSC Western Band Immerged Best Band in Inter Regiment Western Band Competition 2013.
The Western Band of Sri Lanka Signal Corps immerge first place(Best Band) in the Inter Regiment Band Competition defeating 20 Regiments. The Competition was held at the parade grounds of the Sri Lanka Engineer Regiment from 26th Aug 13 to 30th Aug 13 at Panagoda. S/276634 WO II Udawaththa A, led the band in the same competitionand created another history by winning the Best Drum major award, During last year$s(year 2012) competition the Signal Western Band clinched the third place and the same SNCO won the second place for the Best Drum Major award.
