With the participation of over 140 officers including Colonel Commandant and many Senior Officers, the Training Day of Sri Lanka Signal Corps held successfully on 8th July 2015 at the RHQ SLSC premises, Panagoda. The Training Day programme was lined up with series of informative and very interesting lectures. The training session commenced with morning Physical Training and continued with morning muster parade, drill session, two guest lectures followed by evening recreational and ended up with a Diners\' Club activity. \r\n\r\nThe guest lectures were done by Mrs. Teena Solomans and Mr. Gamini Karunathilake on following valuable topics accordingly \'Understanding Your Child\' and \'Important Habits of Highly Effective People\'. \r\nAfter having lunch, all officers took part in the evening recreational activities and also enjoyed playing different sports such as basketball, volleyball and tennis while interacting with each other. \r\n\r\nThe Training Day program reached its culminating point with the Diners\' Club activity. Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, a senior lecturer of University of Kelaniya and the veteran musician Mr. Jagath Wickramasinghe conducted a priceless program on \'Aesthetic Value of Music\' which was enjoyed by entire audience.
