SIGNALMAN CHATHURANGA K D RECEIVED WELFARE INCENTIVES

Colonel Commandant of Corps of Signals, Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc and Chairperson of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Arosha Wijesinghe stepped forward with a financial contribution of LKR 100,000.00 to Signalman Chathuranga KD of 5^th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps to immediately facilitate his wife Mrs. Thushari Malkanthi who is suffering from a severe Lung Disease. This donation was essential to purchase oxygen tanks for the patient to undergo indispensable medical treatments at the National Hospital for Respiratory Diseases, Welisara. This charitable movement was taken place on 15th December 2017 at the Signals Regimental Centre. Lieutenant Colonel B D Fernando USP psc, Commanding Officer, 5^th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps was present at the scene.
