Signallers marked an outstanding achievement in OCDC history as achieving first in order of merit in all courses which was culminated in OCDC. In that, Major WPDN Abeyrathne SLSC, Major TSNK Peiris SLSC and Captain TK Ramasinghe SLSC achieved the first in order of merits in UCC No 7, JCC No 19 and JSC No 19 respectively.
Further, Captain TNP Vithanage SLSC secured the second and Major TSE Fernanado SLSC became the sixth in order of merits in JCC No 19.
These Officers received their certificates in a glamourous Graduation Ceremony which was held on 09 October 2020. The Commandant of the OCDC, Major General KJ Jayaweera RWP RSP USP rcds graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Deputy Commandant, the Chief Instructor, the Senior Instructors and all other members of the permanent staff participated for the ceremony.
