SIGNALLER INVOLVES IN HISTORICAL WIN IN BADMINTON AT UNIFIL

The "Open Badminton Competition 2023" organized jointly by the Force Headquarters Support Unit (FHQSU) and Welfare & Recreation Committee of UNIFIL was successfully conducted from 05 to 09 June 2023 at the Rub Hall of UNIFIL Headquarters in Naqoura, Lebanon. Female Badminton players of Sri Lankan Force Protection Company (SLFPC) competed in Womens’ Single and Womens’ Double event categories during the competition together with a number of players from different countries such as Indonesia, India, Malaysia, China, Nepal, France, Ghana, Sambia and Poland. Female players of SLFPC achieved the 2nd place of Womens’ double event after a competitive match against the Indonesia. The FHQSU Commander, Colonel Ezra Nathanael who graced the event as the Chief Guest presented trophies, medals and certificates to all the winners.
