SIGNAL SEVA VANITHA BRANCH HOLDS ITS MONTHLY MEETING - JULY

The Monthly Meeting of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch for the month of July was held on 22 July 2023 at Regimental officers' Mess of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Panagoda.

At the outset, the arrival of the President of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Nalini Ratnayake, Executive Committee and other senior members of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch denoted the commencement of the day's proceedings. A two minutes silence was observed to commemorate War Heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.

Afterwards, the president of SVB SLSC made her remarks on preparations for upcoming Children's day program and some other programmes, suggested to uplift the soldiers’ welfare. During the meeting, the president gave away cheques worth of Rs.100000.00 to 14 needy soldiers on a loan basis with zero interest, granted by Seva Vanitha branch of Ministry of Defence. The day’s proceedings were concluded with the vote of thanks by the Hon Secretary.
