Signal Officers' annual escapade in line with the last quarterly Training Day of the year 2017 was held at the Laya Resort premises in Kukuleganga on 30th and 31st December 2017 in a well harmonized milieu with their family members. The entire programme was organized and conducted by Signals Regimental Centre as directed by the Colonel Commandant Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc and under the supervision of the Director IT Brig D A P N Dematanpitiya ndu psc.
The programme was started with a cricket match followed by family get to-gather on the arriving day evening that was integrated with activities to enhance the bond in the mob as well as in families. Following day, an educative session of presentation on Weapon Simulator Demonstration, cod-copter demonstration and a cyber security awareness session on social media was conducted slot-in with many collective outward-bound activities in between until the late lunch. A large number of Senior Officers including Colonel Commandant and many Signal Officers together with their families ardently participated in two days programme.
