Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) bid a farewell to its outgoing Major General CMDP Chandrasekerandu on 09 September 2020 on his retirement after having counted an illustrious service of more than 34 years in the Sri Lanka Army.
The ceremony formally held in keeping with military traditions at the SLSC Regimental Headquarters premises in Panagoda to regard with grate respect to his tremendous contribution to the Sri Lanka Army as well as the Corps of Signals.
The programme of events commenced with the ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed with paying obeisance to the fallen war heroes of SLSC at the Regimental Monument, Guard of Honour with the participation of SLSC troops, followed by the troop address at RHQ SLSC Auditorium.
The event also included with All Ranks tea party at the Other Ranks Mess at Regimental Headquarters.
The event culminated with a ‘Dinner Night’ hosted by the Col Comdt and Officers of the Corps of Signals at the Regimental Officers’ Mess.
