Regimental Centre Commandant Brigadier GS Fonseka USP psc made his maiden visit to 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Diyathalawa on 28th June 2022.
Lt Col SAD Gamagedara USP, the Commanding Officer warmly welcomed Brig GS Fonseka USP psc on arrival and a subsequent Ceremonial Guard Turnout was awarded at the entrance in accordance with military formalities. Then the Commanding Officer conducted a comprehensive briefing on the state of Administration, General and Log Matters.
Subsequently he planted a Mango sapling to mark his visit to 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps. Later, Brig GS Fonseka USP psc delivered his speech and convince all to harness professionalism whilst preserving highest standard of discipline during their career and adjust to the prevailing situation of the country. At the end of his address the Commanding Officer presented a memento to mark his visit. Thereafter, all ranks tea was taken place and chief guest spared his time with officers and other ranks.
Before concluding the day’s itinerary, Regimental Centre Commandant shared his valuable thoughts with officers and sat together for lunch with all officers at the Officers’ Mess and left a couple of thoughts and compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
