The ORs\' Mess of 7 SLSC was ceremonially declared open by Maj Gen K R P Rowel RWP USP ndu psc USACGSC the Chief Signal Officer, Col Commandant SLSC and Director General Research and Development AHQ on 21 December 2016, on the invitation of the Commanding Officer Lt Col G S Fonseka USP psc. This newly constructed ORs\' Mess was a long-awaited requirement of the unit presently located at Manikkanda camp in Diyatalawa, which was constructed and established into its present status in a permanent building of 120\' x 20\', under the guidance of the Commanding Officer and with the dedicated commitment of All Ranks in the unit.
