NEW COMMANDING OFFICER RESUMED THE OFFICE AT 2 (V) SLSC
Outgoing Commanding Officer of 2 (V) SLSC Lt Col G L S W Liyanage USP psc handed over the duties to the incoming Commanding Officer Lt Col B M Jayaweera psc in accordance with the series of military formalities and traditions on 16 March 2017. Aligning with this special occasion, on 17 March 2017, incoming Commanding Officer was awarded the Guard Turnout and the ceremonial military parade presented by the troops of the Regiment that was followed by the customary deeds of the military event. 2 (V) SLSC is presently deployed in Welikanda under the Security Force Headquarters (East).
