Brigadier BI Assalartchi USP psc, newly appointed Commander Signal Brigade assumed duties as the 24th Signal Brigade Commander on 09 March 2022 at the Headquarters Signal Brigade, Panagoda, Homagama.
In accordance with military traditions, Brig BI Assalartchi USP psc reviewed the Guard Turnout on arrival after he was welcomed by BM and ORs of the Signal Brigade.
After brief religious observances, the newly-appointed Commander Signal Brigade left his signature in an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office. Staff Officers in the Signal Brigade and Other Ranks attended the inauguration of the new office.
