The Walawe Super Cross - 2017 organized by the Sri Lanka Army Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Regiment (SLEME) was held on 17th September 2017 at Udawalawe Super Cross Track in Sevanagala. This mega event was well poised with the participation over 200 leading racing drivers and riders to contend each other in a much competitive environment.
As the event progressed, Signalman De Silva BK of the Corps of Signals once again displayed his outstanding performances and appeared flamboyant by defeating many experienced riders in the race where he finally clinched into the following titles: Group MX RACING over 100cc up to 125cc (2T) Forces event - Champion Group MX RACING over 100cc up to 125cc (2T) National event - Champion
