FELICITATION CEREMONY FOR MAJOR GENERAL B H M A WIJESINGHE USP ndu psc
Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Signal Corps has offered a Guard Turnout followed by a colourful Guard of Honour to Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc at 8.30 am on 04 July 2016 at the Signal Regimental Premises in Panagoda. This formal ceremony was held in order to mark his promotion to the Rank of Major General on 09 June 2016.\r\n\r\nMajor General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc is presently performing duties as the Deputy Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College. He was enlisted to the Army on 18 January 1985 as an Officer Cadet in to the Intake 20 of the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) and was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant on 31 May 1986. Since then, he has held almost all key appointments in the Corps of Signal as well as many important key appointments in the Army. Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc is the 2nd senior most officer among the present serving officers in the Corps of Signals.
