Signals Seva Vanitha branch conducted a donation programme for children with special needs as their maiden project for the year 2024. Programme was focused on the children of officers and soldiers of the signals family and, it was initiated to ease the burden of living in a family with a bed ridden child.
The selected group of recipients consisted six children who are confined to homes due to their inabilities in walking, speech and schooling. The donations consisted essential commodities including children's diapers, milk powder and some medicines. Also, each and every one of them was donated with an air mattress.
The Signals Seva Vanitha branch President together with the executive committee members visited the houses of all the recipients on Saturday 03 February 2024 in executing the donations. Also all of them made it an occasion to interact / exchange views with the most needy families of signals.
