DONATION OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE FOR LATE SERGEANT KUMARASINGHE J’S FAMILY

Troops of 11 SLSC constructed house for Late Sergeant Kumarasinhe J was handed over to his family was took place at Wattegama on 29 April 2021.

Major General PAJ Peiris ndu Chief Signal Officer of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps attended for this generous course in order to hand over the house key as the chief guest.

Lieutenant Colonel SD Kothalawala RSP, Commanding Officer – 11SLSC, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and proceeded by handing over the house key to Late Sergeant Kumarasinghe’s wife at the auspicious time.

This project was completed with the support of skilled soldiers in the Corps and funded by Regimental headquarters Sri Lanka Signal Corps, several philanthropists and patrons which was an urgent requirement for beloved wife and son of a war hero.

Brigadier HMLD Herath RSP USP psc - Commander Signal Brigade, Brigadier KC Prathapasinghe - Director Information Technology, Brigadier DMPP Dasanayake - Director Quality Assurance and Inspection, Colonel GGA Gunasekara USP - Centre Commandant SLSC and other senior officers from RHQ SLSC and School of Signals were Participated for the ceremony while adhering to the Covid 19 health guidelines.
