The Director, Directorate of Information Technology of Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier G L S W Liyanage USP psc visited 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Diyathalawa on 21st January 2023.
Major D S L Kumarasiri psc, the Commanding Officer warmly welcomed Brigadier G L S W Liyanage USP psc on arrival. Then he planted a Mango sapling to mark his visit to 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
The Director, Directorate of Information Technology addressed the troops and highlighted that how to harness professionalism whilst preserving highest standard of discipline during their career and the principles of the corps. At the end of his address the Commanding Officer presented a memento to mark his visit. Thereafter, chief guest attended to all ranks tea and addressed officers separately in highlighting the officers’ commitment in present context.
The Director, Directorate of Information Technology shared his views with officers at the conference hall and subsequently he had a group photograph with all ranks. Before concluding the programme, he had lunch at Officers’ Mess and left compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
