Deputy Chief of Staff Declares Opens The "Generals Bungalow"
In the moral view of uplifting the standards of Corps of Signals and giving the opportunity and maintaining the prestige deserved for Two Star and One Star generals in the Corps of Signals, Major General EP De Z Abeysekera USP, The Deputy Chief of Staff and the Colonel Commandant of SLSC ceremonially opened "The Generals Bungalow" on Wednesday 23nd October integrating it to the Regimental Officers Mess Sri Lanka Signal Corps at Panagoda. The Generals Bungalow, a widely-felt requirement for a long time became a reality with the vision of the Colonel Commandant. The Generals Bungalow is built in a spectacular ground with a breathtaking view of the paddy field in the back and, the Generals Bungalow consists with three luxury bedrooms, Living area and a kitchen with all modern amenities. Many Signal senior officers also graced this historical event, whereas the image of the Corps was highlighted one step forward.
