Headquarters Chief Signal Officer (HQCSO) facilitated to conduct a timely workshop on \"Cyber Security\" on 25th and 26th May 2017 at the Conference Hall of the Corps of Signals, Panagoda. This was conducted by the resource personnel from US Pacific Command (USPASCOM) who have arrived in Sri Lanka to conduct the Planning Staff Workshop 111 (PSW 111) of the Multinational Communications Interoperability Programme (MCIP) of the Pacific Endeavor 2017 that is scheduled to be held from 29th May 2017 to 02nd June 2017 at Hotel Hilton, Colombo. \r\n\r\nThe Director General of the Research, Analysis, Projection and Development (RAP & D) Branch of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General K R P Rowel RWP USP ndu psc delivered the opening remarks of the workshop. \r\n\r\nIT Professionals from the Faculty of Engineering - University of Moratuwa, CICRA Campus Colombo, WSO2 and IT / Communication Officers from the Armed Forces and Police of Sri Lanka enthusiastically attended the workshop that created a harmonized milieu for them to refresh and widen their knowledge with latest trends in the field of Cyber Security.\r\n
