COMMANDER SIGNAL BRIGADE VISITS 7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS

The Commander Signal Brigade Brigadier GLSW Liyanage USP psc made his maiden visit to the 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Diyathalawa on 12th November 2021.

On the arrival the Commander Signal Brigade was welcomed by the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel SAD Gamagedara USP after drive pass. Then the Commanding Officer conducted a comprehensive briefing on the state of signal communications in Security Force (Central) AOR and there, the Brigade Commander had a lengthy discussion on communication issues with Commanding Officer and Divisional Signal Officers.

After that Commander Signal Brigade visited the Commander Security Force Headquarters Central Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu and had a discussion about the involvement of the unit for assigned tasks and communication duties.

Subsequently he participated for the all ranks tea and after that he plated an Ironwood sapling to mark his visit. Then he addressed the troops on Principles of Signal corps and the changing of attitude towards a better future.

Before concluding the day’s itinerary, Commander Signal Brigade shared his valuable thoughts with officers and sat together for lunch with all officers at the Officers’ Mess and left a couple of thoughts and compliments in the Visitors’ Book before the culmination of the day's proceedings.
