COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (CENTRAL) MAKE HIS FIRST VISIT TO 7 SLSC

Maj Gen HPNK Jayapathirana RSP paid his first official visit to 7^th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 3 December 2020 after assuming duties as the Security Force Commander (Central) with his staff including BAQ- SFHQ(C) Brig TMGGS Thennakoon RWP and Col Coord - SFHQ(C) Col WMPWNDB Weerakoon.

Commander Security Force Headquarters (Central) was warmly welcomed by Commanding Officer with all Officers and Other Ranks adhering to the health guidelines issued by the AHQ. Commencing the programme, Commanding Officer 7 SLSC Lt Col MR Hameem USP SLSC briefed the Role and Task of the unit and also enlightened about the unit activities undertaken during recent past and accompanied Maj Gen HPNK Jayapathirana RSP for a unit visit.

During the visit, Maj Gen HPNK Jayapathirana RSP visited the camp premises and planted a sapling to mark his maiden visit. He appreciated all ranks for effort taken to maintain the camp atmosphere according to a distinct pattern which he described as an exemplarily model for everyone in his AOR.

Finally Commander Security Force Headquarters (Central) joined officers with a tea at the officer’s mess and placed his thoughts and good wishes in the visitor’s book.
