COLONEL COMMANDANT VISITED THE 1ST SIGNAL REGIMENT IN MULLAITHIVU

The Military Secretary of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals, Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc made his official visit to the 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 20th January 2019. The Commanding Officer Lt Col TS Liyanagunawardana warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant and conducted the visit in line with military traditions.

Commanding Officer briefed the present status of the Regiment at the Regiment Headquarters and then conducted him for the planting of a Sandalwood sapling to mark the visit. Afterwards Colonel Commandant addressed the troops and congratulated all Officers and Other Ranks by emphasizing the good effort and contribution of the unit for the enormous success of the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
