Major General HMLD Herath RSP USP psc, the Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps paid his first official visit to 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 18 June 2022 after assuming duties as the Chief Signal Officer and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
He was welcomed by the Commanding Officer 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Lieutenant Colonel HADW Hettiarachchi USP psc. Then he Offered Floral Tribute at the monument of 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Planted a Sapling to mark his visit.
Subsequently Colonel Commandant addressed the troops where he outlined how signalers should uplift their knowledge and skills. Further he stressed about maintaining the high standard of discipline while maintaining self confident over future challenges.
Finally Colonel Commandant left compliments in the visitor’s book before the departure.
