BRIGADIER NM HETTIARACHCHI psc RELINQUISHES THE APPOINTMENT AS COMMANDER SIGNAL BRIGADE
Completing almost two and half years of tenure as the Commander Signal Brigade, from 30 July 2011 to 28 January 2014, Brigadier NM Hettiarachchi psc handed over the duties to Brigadier DAPN Dematanpitiya psc who is the incoming Commander Signal Brigade, on 28 January 2014.
On the same day, all Officers and Other Ranks serving at the Headquarters of the Signal Brigade Bid farewell to Brigadier NM Hettiarachchi psc at an official ceremony held with a Guard Turnout at the Signal Regimental Centre premises in Army Cantonment, Panagoda. Brigadier NM Hettiarachchi psc will assume duties in his new office as the Brigadier (Doctrine & Development) of Army Trg Command.
