ASSUMING DUTIES OF NEWLY APPOINTED REGIMENTAL CENTER COMMANDANT

Colonel GGA Gunasekera USP assumed duties as the 19^th Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Signal Corps in Panagoda on 23 September 2020.

The newly-appointed Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps was warmly welcomed by the Staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters and honoured in a Guard Turnout. Later on, Colonel GGA Gunasekera USP placed his signature on an official document to mark his assuming of duties, amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ in the presence of Senior Officers. As Customary he addressed the troops and followed up an all Ranks tea at Other Ranks Mess at Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Signal Corps.

Commanding Officers, Staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Signal Corps, and Other Ranks were presented at the occasion.
