ASSUMED DUTIES OF NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDING OFFICER 7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS

12th Commanding Officer of 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Major DSL Kumarasiri psc assumed duties on 23 August 2022.

In accordance with military traditions, Major DSL Kumarasiri psc reviewed the guard turnout on his arrival after he was welcome by the second in command.

Subsequently Commanding Officer symbolically signed an official document to signify the acceptance of new appointment amidst religious observances.

Then he left memories by planting a sapling in the Regimental Headquarters premises. After that he was invited for All Ranks tea. Troop address was conducted at auditorium and he emphasized on responsibilities and duties on each ranks towards the unit. The event was concluded after attended to All Ranks Lunch.
