ALL ARMY BRANCHES, DIRECTORATE AND INSTITUTIONS EDUCATED ON "HANDLING AND CONSERVATION OF DOCUMENTS"

As directed by the Commander of the Army, an awareness programme on \"Handling and Conservation of Documents' was organized by the Headquarters Chief Signal Officer (HQCSO) with the join hand of Department of National Archives for the Staff Officers and NCOs of all Army Branches, Directorates and Institutions on Monday, 18^th December 2017 at the main auditorium of the Signals Regimental Centre, Panagoda.

The lectures focused especially on how to archive and conserve Army relegated documents, which are Top Secret, Secret, Confidential and Restricted and need to be protected for a longer period.

The session was delivered by Mrs. Dilini Liyanage, The Assistance Director and Mrs. KH Ashoka, The Craft Assistant of Department of National Archives.
