6th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps proudly commemorated their 8th Anniversary on 16th June 2022 at the Regiment’s premises.
Commencing the day’s proceedings, troops rendered a ceremonial Guard Turnout to the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel WPDN Abeyrathne on his arrival at the main entrance.
After the guard turnout Commanding Officer planted a sapling which was followed a group photograph. Then Commanding Officer participated for an all ranks lunch at the ORs’ Mess.
Simultaneously played cricket match and volleyball match to improve the mutual cooperation among troops. Commenced a Bodhi pooja pinkama to memorize unit members those who sacrificed their lives in war.
In culmination of day’s proceedings Commanding Officer presented gifts to all civil employees in the 6th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps (IT).
