6 SLSC AND 17 GW ORGANIZED PILGRIMAGE TO NAGADEEPA
6 SLSC and 17 GW have jointly organized a pilgrimage for the families of their soldiers which includes a observance of \'Sil\' at Nagadeepa under the patronage of SF HQ(J) and 51 Division on Poson Poya Day. Nearly 250 Family members observed ‘Sil’ during programme which was praised by the all participants.\r\n\r\nSubsequently they were visited suburbs of Jaffna to see the places of important around the town. On the following day, prior to their departure they got the opportunity to visit Dambakola Patuna, Kadurugoda temple, Ponnalei pond and were provided transport back to Anuradhapura, where they had their field lunch at 55 Division holiday resort at Aiyakachchi.
