The 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps celebrated its 26th Anniversary on 5th June 2017, at the unit deployed in Anuradhapura. This regiment was fully committed and utilized to maximum during the Humanitarian Operation concluded in the year 2009 and aftermath to date. To commemorate the anniversary, the following series of events were organized and conducted from 5th to 17th June 2017 under the directions of the Commanding Officer Lt Col A K D Adikari USP to uplift the morale of troops who are serving at present and in merit of those who paid with supreme sacrifice towards sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.\r\n\r\nBodhi Pooja pinkama at the sacred Sri Maha Bodhiya.\r\nPirith chanting and alms giving at the unit.\r\nHindu and Catholic religious activities. \r\nBlood donation campaign. \r\nCeremonial parade for the CO and All Ranks lunch.\r\nOfficers’ Mess get together.\r\nSenior NCOs’ get together.\r\nAll Ranks’ get together.
