3SLSC BADE ADIEU TO COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCES (JAFFNA)

3^rd Signal Regiment made its Au-Revoir to the outgoing Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) Major General PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu USACGSC during a charming ceremony held in the morning hours on 4^th August 2020 at the Officers Mess of the Regiment in the Palaly Army Cantonment.

Upon the arrival, Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel NPA Mendis psc welcomed the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) and the Staff of the SF HQ (J), and hosted a Courtesy Elevenses in the Officers Mess.

At the end of the tea, Commanding Officer presented the Plaque of Honour of the Regiment to Major General PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu USACGSC in appreciation of his individual concern and strong affiliation towards the Regiment during his tour of duty in Jaffna. It is a tradition at the SF HQ (J) that the outgoing Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) to visit 3^rd Signal Regiment being the only adjacent regiment.
