HISTORY
24 VIR is the youngest battalion of the Vijayabahu family and raised on 04th March 2010. before deployed under 66 Div, Bn performed duties in Mannar under command to 541 Bde in SFHQ Wanni. presently dep at Wettakadu, Poonaryn under command to 661 Bde since 16th August 2018.
