9 GW, 3 SLNG and 24 SLNG under 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) Organized a distribution of School amenities among 102 x School Students at Vakarei, Punani and Welikanda areas with the generous Sponsorship of Jaya Sathuta Foundation in Colombo. 233 Bde comd, CO’s at 9 GW, 3 SLNG and 24 SLNG and several other officers also participated for the occasion. This was held on 06 January 2015 (No of troops participated 02 x 10)

6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a “Shramadana Campaign” to clean the premises of Samuddragiri Pichchamal Viharaya in Kuchachaweli on 12th January 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 06)

9th Gemunu Watch located under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a “Shramadana Campaign” to clean an area of 4 km covering Kunjalkulam, Kirimichchikulam and Madurankernikulam for erecting an electric fence on 13th January 2014. (Troops participated 01 x 05)

27th Sri Lanka National Guard under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a “Shramadana Campaign” to clean the premises of Sanpaha School in Ichchalanpaththu on 13th January 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 05)

6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a “Shramadana Campaign” to clean the premises of Pulleyar Kovil at Nilaweli to mark the Thai Pongal Day on 14th January 2014. 27th Sri Lanka National Guard under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a “Shramadana Campaign” to clean the premises of Sanpaha Nachchiamman Kovil at Ichchalanpaththu to mark the Thai Pongal Day on 14th January 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 05)
