In response to a request made by the GA Trincomalee Mr. Saman Dharshana Padikorala and health authorities in Trincomalee District, troops of under command battalions of 22 Infantry Division assisted to health authorities for vaccination programme against COVID-19 in Trincomalee district on 08 June 2021.
This programme conducted with the direction of General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Major General Samantha Silva.
