CONDUCT OF A COURSE ON UNIT ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING FOR NEWLY JOINED YOUNG OFFICERS OF THE SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (CENTRAL) AREA

On the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (Central), Major General KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, and under the guidance of the Logistics Command, (Central), Major General RD Sale ndc, a course on Unit Administration and Accounting was conducted at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) for 12 Young Officers belonging to units of the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) Area. These officers were participants of Young Officers’ Course No. 70 (C).

The objective of the course, which was conducted from 19 January 2026 to 06 February 2026, was to enhance the theoretical knowledge of Unit Accounting and Unit Administration essential for the effective performance of duties within their respective units. At the conclusion of the course, the First Place was secured by O/73060 Second Lieutenant KASK Kasturiarachchi of the 3rd Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.
