 ‘Brave Hearts’ Project Receives a Fillip from Signal Seva Vanitha Unit

Mrs Sandamali Abeysekara, Secretary, Army Seva Vanith Unit (ASVU) and Chairperson, Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Seva Vanitha Unit on Tuesday (22), donated a cheque to the value of Rs. 1 million towards the ASVU’s ‘Brave Hearts’ project for welfare of disable War Heroes.

Mrs Damayanthi Ratnayake, President, ASVU gratefully acknowledged the receipt of the donation from the SLSC Seva Vanitha Unit Chairperson since it would help supply of necessary equipment to the newest, ‘Abimansala 3’ to be opened on Friday (25).

SLSC Seva Vanitha Unit collected this sum for donation to the ‘Brave Hearts’ project through various fund-raising events, conducted in the past few months with the help of the SLSC Seva Vanitha members.

The brief ceremony at the ASVU auditorium was attended by Mrs Deepika Dharmasiri, Secretary to SLSC Seva Vanitha Unit, senior members and several Army officers.
