Sri Lankans In Canada Extend Helping Hand to War HeroesSri Lanka United National Association of Canada, an organization of Sri Lankans living in Canada donated Rs. 210,000/= to Brave Hearts Project for the construction of Abimansala the wellness resort under construction for the totally dependant disabled War Heroes in Anuradhapura. The donation was handed over to SVAB President Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya by the President of the donor organization Mr. Mahinda Gunasekara and his lady Mrs. Malathi Gunasekara Wednesday (26) morning at Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) Colombo. These philanthropists pledged Mrs. Jayasuriya to extend further assistance in the future too for the construction of such rehabilitation centres for the disabled War Heroes.
