‘Abimansala’ Continues to Receive Foreign DonationsThe ‘Abimansala’ at Anuradhapura nearing completion under the ‘Brave Hearts’ project received one more fillip when one more donor, domiciled in United States, made a cash donation towards its construction. Impressed with the progress in the project, Dr Lambert Abeythunga, resident in Las Vegas, US on Thursday (6) had sent in a sum of Rs 110,000/= to the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB). The cash donation was presented to Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB by Mr Malin Abeythunga, the brother of the donor who is in Sri Lanka at present. The simple ceremony took place at the SVAB auditorium. The ‘Abimansala’, the special rest and recreation centre project for permanently dependent War Heroes and their families is fast nearing fruition and donors both here and abroad are extending their financial assistance to the project.
