Engineer Services Ladies Support War Heroes

Corps of Engineer Services (CES) Seva Vanitha Unit donated Rs.1,000,000/= for Abimansala the wellness resort for the totally dependant disabled War Heroes being constructed at Anuradhapura.

The donation, a part of the proceeds of its fund raising project Ilmaha Wasanthaya held in Panadura on 06th October, was handed over to President Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya Monday (13) by President CES Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Shirani Ambanpola and Past President CES Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Rohini Wasantha Kumara.

CES Seva Vanitha Unit also donated Rs.1,000,000/= to Mrs. M. I. F. Anusha Shiromi, spouse of Sapper Navarathne B. R. F. A. B. of CES who was killed in an accident on 15th November. This donation was handed over to Mrs. Shiromi by Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya.

Mrs. Rohini Wasantha Kumara Past President of CES Seva Vanitha Unit presented a memento to President SVAB before the end of the days programme.
