More War Heroes Receive Assistance for Housing from SVABSeva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB), on a concept of its President Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya, provides assistance to permanently disabled War Heroes to fulfil their housing requirements. Four War Heroes of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) received such assistance from SVAB recently. Foundation Stone was laid for the construction of a new house worth Rs.1000,000/= for Corporal Sunil Shantha A. P. of SLLI recently at Maragahawatta Estate, Doranegoda, Udugampola. Three more War Heroes Sergeant Buddhika Silva D. U. V., Corporal Dikwella D. N. T. N. and Private Pushpakumara D. C., all of SLLI will receive Rs. 100,000/= each for the completion of construction of their partially-built houses from SVAB. Already the construction work of these houses has begun with the payment of the initial instalment of the donation.
