The Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army and Chairman of the Board Management (BoM) of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL), Major General Nirmal Dharmarathna, attended the ceremony of laying foundation stone to the proposed new Officer’s Mess Complex held on 05th March 2020.


Major General Manjula Manathunga ,the Commandant -RVAPL together with Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera ,Deputy Commandant and Lieutenant Colonel Nandana Weerasekara ,Factory Manager Of Ranaviru Apparel Alawwa,in the company of several other senior Officers ,and he was honored by Ranaviru Apparel Troops on arrival in a Guard Turnout in accordance with the military tradition.


Meanwhile the DCOS of the Sri Lanka Army and Chairman visited to each and every section of the factory while listing to briefing made by Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officers of section on their role and tasks as well as functions of the production lines.

Towards the end of day‘s proceedings, the DCOS placed his signature in the Visitors’ book as memory of his visit to RVAPL -Alawwa.
