The closing ceremony of 'Account Course No 7' conducted for Other Ranks of RVAPL in Yakkala from 11 March to 11 April 2019 was held at camp premises.

Course was organized on the instructions and guidance of Major General Manjula Manathunga Commandant – RVAPL and under the supervision of Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera, Deputy Commandant of RVAPL.

This course is designed to produce much-needed account clerks to the RVAPL, through a well-designed syllabus covering a period of 4 weeks. Meanwhile Private Madhushanka Y.G.R.I of Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) secured the 1st place in the Course obtaining highest marks at the examinations.

A total number of 18 Other Ranks successfully completed the course. Major General Manjula Manathunga Commandant – RVAPL, Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera and Factory Manager, gave away the certificates to participants during a simple ceremony organized by students of the course.

The Commandant, Deputy Commandant and Factory Manger together with senior officers, officers, Senior Non Commission Officers in the RVAPL participated in the event.
